Tottenham have finally got their new man to run the show from the touch line. Ange Postecoglou has been named as the new Spurs manager. The saga is finally over and now we know who is going to be in charge. He is coming over from Celtic to take over for Ryan Mason next year and I have to say I am optimistic for this. Truth be told I do not know much about Postecoglou but I think he will be a good manager.
I think Postecoglou will breath new life into the team and give it something we have not seen in a long time. He says she likes to make attacking teams that play great attacking Football. That is something that has not been in that Tottenham team for a long time. We have been playing more of a defensive counter attacking style and I think this new style Postecoglou is brining is something the fans will really like. I know it is something that I am really looking forward to seeing.
I am super tired of the counterattacking style we have been playing in the past. With Postecoglou coming in I think this will be a whole new team and can unlock great things for the side. I really hope with this move we are able to keep Harry Kane and he will want to play in this attacking system. That needs to be goal number one of the offseason is Keeping Kane happy and making him want to sign a new deal.
I am very excited to see what Postecoglou will do with the current squad. I had heard that he will be looking to really change the squad and offload some of the players that we have now. Since we have been changing managers it feels like every season we have so many players who's future is up in the air and don't work with the style we play now hopefully. I will be interested to see what type of players we go for in the transfer window. With no European football it will be tough to attract big name players this season.
Overall I am very hopeful for this move and I really hope Postecoglou makes the team his own and take Spurs back to their winning ways.
